Thomas Chang

Before Thomas practise as a lawyer, he was a Pharmacist, graduated from Pharmacy
faculty in Sydney University.
After working as a hospital pharmacist, industrial chemist, pharmaceutical
marketing manager, he then studied Law on a part-time basis and subsequently
practise as lawyer.
With his business and pharmaceutical background, he tries to see thing in a
more practical yet caring and considerate way. As he always says to his clients,
"Prevention is better than cure" is the motto he tries to accomplish
in all his matters.

Patricia Chang  
Licensed Conveyancer
Patricia is a Certified Practising Accountant and she joined our company as
an Accountant. She had mass experience in accounting, financial and budget planning.
She also has a strong background in computing as she graduated from University
of New South Wales in Computing Science.
During her service, she also works as legal assistance until she becomes a
licensed conveyancer. With the combination of her experience in accounting,
finance and conveyancing, she always tries to explain to the clients the interrelationship
within these areas. She also assists the principal in immigration matters.

Olivia Cheng  
Solicitor Assistant
Before Olivia migrated to Australia in mid 80's, she was already working over
5 years in a legal firm in Hong Kong as legal assistance and have extensive
experience in commercial and litigation matters. Since she came to Australia,
she has not diminished her interest and continues to work in this specialised
area.
Due to her past background, she has been able to incorporate some better steps
and risk management procedures. In addition, she has been able to compare the
legal systems and the procedural difference between two countries which is particular
appreciated by our overseas companies and clients.
Her main area includes commercial lease, retail lease, buying and selling of
business, application and transfer of Liquor Licence, public notary works or
notarisation and assist a number of development projects and contracts.

Tony Lee  
Solicitor
Tony gained his Economics degree from University of Sydney. After graduation,
he was involved in his family's business in Chinatown during which time he studied
part time for his law degree at University of Technology, Sydney. After completing
his law degree, Tony worked in various law firms in the city before joining
Thomas Chang & Co.
In his spare time, Tony acts as a legal consultant in various sporting organisations
and is a national accredited coach in table tennis.
Dedicated and friendly to his clients, Tony brings with him knowledge of doing
business in Chinatown and shares his previous law firm experience with Thomas
Chang & Co.

Larry Tam  
Licensed Conveyancer
Larry has been working as a valuer for many years and as a senior legal assistance
in our firm until he become licensed conveyancer. Larry has also accomplished
his diploma course in real estate, which is also complimentary to his work as
a conveyancer. He has chosen to become a conveyancer rather than real estate
agent, as he believes that he may help clients in a better way. As he also needs
to deal with the real estate on a regular basis, knowing what the real estate
agent think make the works a lot easier.
Larry believes that "planning and discipline" are the main contributions
to success and devote to assist clients to achieve these targets, in order to
reach their goals.

Michael Tang  
Solicitor
Michael is the youngest member, but not the newest to our multi-talented team. Originally joining Thomas Chang & Co as a casual legal clerk in 2000, he has stayed with us since completing his combined degree in law and commerce/accounting. Having worked on every tier of our firm, he has developed an intimate knowledge on the finer workings of our services.
With a can-do attitude and a mentality that no problem is too small or too large, Michael is a fine complement to our goal of working with you every step of the way.
